What is HEALTHcheck?Healthcheck Image - Small

Dramatic savings and productivity improvements are being achieved by organisations adopting a systematic and continuous improvement approach to facilities, energy and environmental management.

A HEALTHcheck assessment for your organisation will show you how effective your current systems and processes are and will point to areas where improvements could be made. The session will provide you with;

  •         a rating that indicates your strengths and weaknesses
  •         a useful starting point for any improvement plans
  •         an examination of facilities, energy and environmental management

HEALTHcheck is a two stage diagnostic software programme designed and developed by JRP Solutions. The HEALTHcheck assessment can be conducted with individuals [with a broad knowledge of facilities management, energy management and environmental management] or in a workshop session with representatives from different parts of the organisation.

How does HEALTHcheck work?

The HEALTHcheck assessment has 2 levels; Level 1 is intended to provide a high level overview for an organisation. This level has approximately 40 questions and would typically last 1 hour. A Level 2 assessment considers the organisation in much greater depth, has in excess of 100 questions and would take approximately 2 hours to complete. Both levels of HEALTHcheck are led by a JRP Solutions facilitator.

At the start of each assessment there is a short introduction to explain the process and to identify the critical issues associated with the elements for your organisation, e.g. cost, service quality, security of supply, emissions compliance, etc..

The 3 elements are examined in turn. For each element there are a series of questions and once answered the software then evaluates the individual element ratings to assign an overall score.

From a consideration of the element rating, absolute significance of the element and the priority assigned by the participants, JRP then produces the five or six most critical actions that will lead to improvement.

By repeating the workshops at appropriate intervals and undertaking the actions agreed to be most significant to that operations needs and priorities, it is possible to continuously improve processes to the level which the organisation decides meets its requirements. Having the right processes will ensure performance is optimised.
