Elinor’s career has focused entirely on championing and driving sustainability in its broadest sense - from strategy development to monitoring utilities consumption, projecting usage and budgets, reviewing sustainable procurement, ISO14001 management and materials impacts analysis. Elinor has worked for, and with, a wide range of organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit, most recently for the Bristol Zoological Society.
With a key interest in promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Elinor has shared their passion and expertise in all things sustainable by chairing the Environmental Impact and Sustainability Working group for the UK zoo industry membership body BIAZA, acting as guest lecturer in sustainable development for undergraduate and masters courses taught via the Zoo’s Institute of Conservation Science and by being involved in the Bristol SDG Alliance which supported the integration of the SDGs into the Bristol One City Strategic Plan.
