Does your behaviour need to change?

The potential for behaviour change energy savings is at least 50% of the available energy improvements potential. We can only access this by harnessing the power of people and embedding sustained best practice from within.
I’m therefore delighted to be one of a small group of industry experts driving a new initiative through ESTA (Energy Services Technology Association) to put energy behaviour change programmes at the heart of an organisation's energy strategy.
We have hard, commercial evidence that energy savings made through behaviour change can be equal to or greater than improvements using technology. I believe that to have any chance of meeting the IPCC 2030 targets and recommendations from the Climate Change Committee (CCC) there is now an urgent need for action to ensure that these ‘hidden’ savings are realised.
If you'd like to start a discussion about what more your organisation could be doing, or if you would like to be invited to attend a behaviour change workshop or, indeed, if you have any other energy challenges, please do get in touch!
