EUETS reporting deadline approaching – do you need help to prepare for your audit?
If you report your emissions under the EU Emissions Trading System, 31 March is the deadline by which you must submit your verified annual emissions report for the previous reporting year. This report and verification statement must be in accordance with the Monitoring and Reporting Regulation and the Accreditation and Verification Regulation.

Understanding what information is required, how to trade surplus allowances or buy more allowances, or even just collating and submitting data can be very confusing and time consuming.
JRP’s experts can assist you in all aspects of the EU ETS (and all other UK carbon compliance schemes) from determining if the scheme applies to you and applying for relevant permits, to reporting within the scheme and maintaining the associated evidence pack and agreements with relevant sector associations or administrators in accordance with the scheme guidance and regulations.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Data collation and submission to the relevant body
Online evidence pack generation and population with 24/7 access
Incorporating required scheme activities in company procedures
Responding to requests and queries from the regulator
Operation of registry accounts
Planning and forecasting emissions to minimise scheme costs and to claim rebates and allowances where appropriate
Providing continuous updates as relevant information becomes available
If you would like us to review your current scheme management system to see where we can add value and/or reduce your costs, we would be pleased to hear from you.
