JRP is delighted to welcome Dan Samson to its growing national team of energy and sustainability consultants.
Posted on 07 October 2019.
Daniel joins JRP as Trainee Consultant after graduating with a Masters degree in Sustainable Environmental Management and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from Plymouth University. His thesis on the effects of climate change on food security and sustainable farming innovations strengthened his passion for finding sustainable solutions for contemporary problems.
Daniel’s previous work placements and volunteering roles whilst studying gave him valuable experience for his current position. He worked as Environmental scientist with Black and Veatch, research assistant with The Cornish Plant Factory and worked as volunteer with The National Trust and with Plymouth Energy Community where he helped with the development of sustainability targets and education of environmental issues to local communities.
“Dan is a great addition to our team,” comments Managing Director, Jes Rutter, “his qualifications and experience to date are a great fit for our plans to develop a wider portfolio of sustainability services.”
Daniel has been enrolled into JRP’s Graduate Training Programme through which he will gain all the skills, knowledge and practical experience required to become a fully qualified energy and sustainability consultant. He will also be working towards becoming a chartered member of the Energy Institute through a combination of e-learning, internal training, and attending accredited external training courses.
