JRP welcomes new energy consultant
As part of a long term growth strategy and to further strengthen its customer service JRP Solutions have appointed a new trainee energy consultant based at their headquarters in South Gloucestershire.

Richard Smith, who has an honours degree in Electrical Systems Engineering from Coventry University, joins as a mature trainee after a 5 year career in the automotive industry.
Richard has now taken a bold decision to move out of the automotive industry into energy consultancy where he will use his technical knowledge, his strengths in stakeholder management, communication, planning, organisation and problem solving to benefit JRP’s clients and to play a greater part in reducing human impact on the planet.
“Richard’s time as a graduate engineer at Nissan followed by 3 years with Jaguar Landrover as Electrical System Strategy Engineer, has given him a great insight into the energy challenges faced by large scale engineering manufacturing organisations. We are delighted to welcome him to JRP,” commented Jes Rutter, Managing Director.
As a trainee consultant at JRP Solutions, Richard is working towards chartership with the Energy Institute through a combination of eLearning, internal training and attending accredited external training courses.
