Owen is an innovative, creative and versatile technical engineer.  He has an excellent track record of project management in combustion and energy related fields, in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality system.  Owen has strong problem solving and analytical skills, complemented by good financial awareness and management qualifications.

Owen helps clients manage energy using a suite of Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) systems. He has been instrumental in the planning, installation and commissioning of a number of sub metering and plant monitoring systems and assists clients with the ongoing monitoring and targeting of energy, including setting targets, setting alarms, identification of waste, verification of savings, regular reporting, using data to engage staff with energy management and presentation of data at board level.

Owen has extensive experience managing and reporting Climate Change Agreements (CCA), Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC), the EU Emission Trading Scheme, (EU ETS) and Combined Heat and Power Quality Assurance (CHPQA) for customers.

Owen is a Chartered Energy Manager and an accredited member of the Register of Professional Energy Consultants (RPEC), which is administered by the Institute of Energy. Through these memberships he has achieved the status of Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) Lead Assessor and has extensive experience of energy opportunity identification and site surveys in the industrial, commercial and public sectors. He is also a Certified Measurement & Verification professional and uses IPMVP to verify energy project savings.

In his previous roles Owen has been involved in a number of innovative projects including low emissions combined heat and power plant, process control and combustion of low calorific value and alternative fuels.  He has a good working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, gained within the Aerospace industry.
