Our pathway to Net Zero

Our pathway to Net Zero

Reducing environmental impact is at the core of what we do, but our responsibility goes beyond our services. We’re committed to leading by example.

Our Plan

Our Net Zero plan sets out how we are reducing our own environmental impact while helping our clients do the same. It reflects our belief that those advising on sustainability must lead by example

Driving continual improvement

We have monitored our business emissions since 2006, continually improving the quality and coverage of our reporting in line with national and international guidance. Since establishing our current emissions baseline in FY21/22, we have achieved a 20% reduction in our relative emissions. While business travel remains our largest source of emissions, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact through responsible travel, sustainable procurement and continual operational improvements, while helping our clients identify and reduce their own emissions.

OUR APPROACH

We take a structured, data-led approach to Net Zero

Our plan is built around three core principles:

Measure

We assess and monitor our carbon footprint across all areas of the business, ensuring we have a clear and accurate baseline.

Reduce

We prioritise meaningful reductions in emissions through operational improvements, energy efficiency, & decision-making.

Improve

We continuously review our performance, adapting our approach as new technologies, data and opportunities emerge.
