Summary

JRP Solutions was commissioned to provide CCA support to a large industrial bakery based in the UK. The client needed assistance to help maintain compliance with their agreements, ensure correct CCL discounts were claimed and to monitor their performance to their CCA targets on a regular basis.

JRP managed the full CCA application for the client’s new Midlands factory, enabling c£80k/year in CCL savings.

Responsibilities included detailing the eligible processes, defining the directly associated activity, compiling the required plans, drawing up process flow diagrams, and carrying out a 70/30 assessment and liaison with the Food and Drink Federation.

Identified and reclaimed c£60k in CCL overpayments from past utility bills under a shared savings model with no upfront cost to the client.

CCA maintenance and reporting included:

Validating CCL payments and invoices
Completing PP10 & PP11 forms
Monthly assessment reporting
Maintaining compliance records and evidence packs

Results

The CCA maintenance and reporting support enabled the bakery to save in the region of £300,000 per year through CCL discounts and ensured full compliance with the agreements in the event of an audit.
