Summary
Circle Health Group, the UK’s largest private hospital network, operates more than 50 hospitals and clinics, delivering over two million patient visits each year. With energy use exceeding 129 million kWh annually across its estate, Circle Health partnered with JRP Solutions to ensure ESOS compliance and identify opportunities for energy efficiency.
Results
Energy audits were carried out across nine major sites and transport operations, covering 95% of total consumption. Fifty improvement opportunities were identified, ranging from low-cost behavioural and control changes to larger technical projects, such as boiler upgrades and solar PV installation. These measures are projected to deliver over £2.1m in annual savings and reduce emissions by around 560 tCO2e.
