JRP appoint new consultants and support staff to boost sustainability and energy teams

Courtney Shannon (top left), Environment and Sustainability Consultant, David Snow (top right), Principal Energy Consultant, Riven Sutherland (bottom left), Operations Administrator and Kate Richards (bottom right), Sales and Marketing Assistant, will all support JRP’s growing business to ensure that the highest quality of service delivery will continue to be provided to JRP’s customers.

Courtney has been an environment and sustainability professional for 12 years and is returning to consultancy after working in the maritime sector. Her previous roles have found her working in every continent except Antarctica and have given her an in-depth understanding of the complex requirements of ever changing international, regional, national and local compliance regulations. She has witnessed the global need for sustainability, and how our actions are interconnected and is passionate about action to prevent climate change.
David has spent over 30 years in the energy and sustainability sector working for companies in the consultancy, ESCO and end user categories. A member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, Chartered Management Institute, Energy Institute and CIBSE, David has been responsible for developing and implementing many £ms of energy efficiency projects across multiple sectors including retail, hospitality and aerospace. He is delighted to join a team where he can use his extensive knowledge and skills in a wider Net Zero/sustainability context.
Riven has a background in customer service and recently graduated with a first-class honours’ degree in Wildlife Conservation, coming top of his class and receiving the Attenborough Nature Award. He has demonstrated his ambition and perseverance by achieving a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and completing two volunteering conservation expeditions in Malaysia/Borneo and Sri Lanka, learning first-hand about the hardships that accompany areas affected by natural disasters and climate change.
Kate joins JRP from the music industry where she juggled a wide variety of administrative and marketing responsibilities in a fast-moving, global, environment with tight deadlines and very demanding customers. She was keen to find a more purpose-driven career and is delighted to join the JRP team in its mission to doing everything possible to secure the health of our planet for the next generation.
