The Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework comes into effect from April 2019 and coincides with the closure of the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. It is a part of the UK government’s on-going commitment “to help businesses to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions".
