New Principal Net Zero Consultant at JRP Solutions

We are delighted to welcome Kara Bennett as Principal Net Zero Consultant to our growing energy and sustainability teams.

With 14 years of environmental and sustainability management experience, predominantly in the industrial and public sectors, Kara is a passionate environmental and sustainability professional, with a varied and extensive operational background. Kara’s unique hands-on experience, implementing best practice environmental and sustainability practices in demanding and challenging production facilities offers an experience-based perspective of the challenges and needs faced by many of our clients.

In addition to a BSc (Hons) Degree in Forensic Science, Kara is a member of Women in Sustainability (WinS), is an IEMA Practitioner and a Lead ISO 14001 Auditor. Kara advocates for pragmatic, well designed, value-added sustainable solutions that enhance business and believes that solutions should be as simple and user friendly as possible to facilitate organisation wide adoption and integration.

A keen collaborator and developer of people, Kara understands the significance of behavioural change in the UK’s transition to Net Zero and is highly proficient at communicating and facilitating the changes in perception that will be key to achieving Net Zero ambitions.
