45-Minute Masterclass: Taking a circular economy approach to net-zero carbon business

Edie’s Net-Zero Carbon Action Sessions was an afternoon of live, interactive webinar presentations and discussions – all dedicated to giving businesses the tools and insights to accelerate progress on Net Zero targets in ways that are transparent and aligned with the latest standards.

In conjunction with Edie, Elinor Kershaw held a session exploring how organisations can adopt circular economy principles to drive decarbonisation within their operations and across the supply chain by capitalising on existing technologies and improvement opportunities.

A circular economy is a crucial component of the transition to a more sustainable and net-zero future. By eliminating waste and circulating products and materials, businesses can effectively slash emissions across the value chain. This session will therefore explore how businesses can change the way we make and use products, materials, and food to accelerate progress towards net-zero.

Discussion Points

  • Understanding the connections between circularity and net-zero
  • Identifying the opportunities to reduce impact and save money by taking a circular approach to decarbonisation
  • How circular economy models and principals can help to tackle Scope 3 emissions
