The way ISO 50001 works is by installing some key processes and tools and a framework to ensure continuous improvement. Unlike other standards, ISO 50001 leads to significant savings quickly because it provides a logical and practical framework that covers all aspects of energy management. This enables a co-ordinated and consistent approach that will start to deliver results well before certification is achieved.
